KS2 OPEN AFTERNOON
This afternoon Maple and Chestnut classes opened their doors to mums, dads, grans, granddads, aunties, uncles and friends to share all the wonderful art, DT and science work they have been working on this year. It was so pleasing to see this event supported by many family members who expressed their compliments to both the children, staff and through the feedback sheets dotted around (see some of the comments below). The children very much enjoyed sharing their work and spoke knowledgably and articulately about the processes they had gone through to create their models.
PRAYER SPACES IN SCHOOL
Previously this term all of the children in the school took part in a Prayer Spaces in School day, organised by Rev. Mike Barnsley and Joe Knight. Each class spent time in the school hall where they were able to visit a number of different prayer stations related to The Lord's Prayer. It was a lovely, calm, thoughtful and reflective day which the children enjoyed interacting with. We would like to thank all of the people who volunteered to help at the different prayer stations, it was a truly wonderful day.
