SIAMS - Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools

On Tuesday 19thMay the school was subject to a SIAMS inspection (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools). We are absolutely thrilled to be able to share with you that following the inspection the school has been graded as OUTSTANDING.
The report commended us on the ‘caring, nurturing ethos of the school’ and noted that the ‘impact of Christian values, especially friendship and forgiveness leads to high levels of respect and exemplary behaviour’
During the inspection a number of children, parents and governors spoke to the inspector and their contribution to the result of the inspection is greatly appreciated.
I am very proud of the school and it is absolutely wonderful to have a report that really captures what we feel is important in regards to the work that we do with children, families and the wider community.
Please take time to read the report (link below) as it really is a direct reflection of what we have achieved as a school community.

‘"Littledean is a good church school with a developing Christian ethos which has progressed since the last inspection. The school carefully nurtures children within an environment of respect for their individuality and this has created a community in which children grow in self-worth and are encouraged to have aspirations for their own futures." -  SIAS Inspection Report 17th June 2010.
