TALK TIME
The children in Key Stage 2 have taken part in a 'Talk Time' session with the House Captains and Deputy House Captains. This went extremely well and the House Captains now have lots of ideas that they can discuss at the next House Captain meeting with Mrs McGoldrick.
WORLD BOOK DAY - 'A BOOK AND A BUN'
We had a fantastic time celebrating World Book Day and a big thank you to all of you who were able to come and take part. The Fashion Show was amazing, a great deal of hard work obviously went into preparing the costumes (the grown ups did a great job too!).
RED NOSE DAY 'MAKE YOUR FACE FUNNY FOR MONEY'
Despite the miserable weather today, the children have really brightened the school up with their 'funny' faces. A great effort by everyone and hopefully we have raised lots of money for a great cause.
AUTHOR VISIT
Today has been a fantastic pirate themed day. The children (and staff) enjoyed dressing up as pirates to welcome the author Jack Trelawny to the school. He told us all about the books that he writes and what inspires him. Many of the children have bought some of the books that he has written and are looking forward to finding out more about him and the characters in his books.
