Christmas Festivities
We have been busy preparing for Christmas with lots of fun activities in our classes.  The infant children presented their Christmas plays which were thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended.  The whole school also visited the Roses Theatre in Tewkesbury to watch Robin Hood  and The Babes in the wood and we have also all joined together to have Christmas lunch.  The Friends Committee paid for the an infant and junior Christmas discos and they also organised the Christmas Fair which was extremely well attended.
Santa Spotted!
On Thursday 15th December the children were all out in the front playground having their morning break, when something very exciting happened.  Santa and what appeared to be a reindeer, were spotted in the field across from the school!
Godly Play
The children in Chestnut Class took part in a Godly Play session with one of our school Governors, Richard Prescott.  Richard spent the morning with the class and shared the Christmas story with them using some beautiful wooden nativity figures.  Following the session the children were able to produce their own art work, poems and stories - they worked really hard.
